SWAT+ Editor Calibration Question

Dear SWAT+ Team,

I am trying to calibrate SWAT+ model using SWAT+ Editor and have encountered two issues:

1. After both soft and hard calibration, changing hydrologic parameters in   SWAT+ Editor,   does not change my water balance components and simulated flow. Could you advise what might causing this issue?
2. My simulated streamflow hydrograph is much smoother than the observed hydrograph (attached). Peak flows are underestimated and storm events are not well captured.
