Modeling relay intercropping in SWAT+

I am working on hydrological modeling using SWAT+ and I would like to represent an intercropping system in relay (relay cropping).

Since SWAT+ does not explicitly support relay or mixed cropping systems, I am wondering:

• How can relay intercropping be properly represented in SWAT+?

  Any guidance, examples, or references would be greatly appreciated.
