Soil Data and Land Use Preparation

Hello Everyone,

I am a new QGIS-SWAT user and currently trying to manouver my ways through it. Could some one help me with any material or links that I can follow so as to prepare my soil maps and LULC maps to correspond to the QSWAT input.

Hi Brian,

You need to reclassify your land cover map according to SWAT land use classification or just create your landuse look up table accordingly. For the soil, you just need to find the necessary data on each soil type as required in the tutorials and prepare your soil database
