Problem creating static maps

Hi there,

I am trying to create a Static maps for my flo_out, in the channel_sd_mon output table. I click create, and it creates the variable layer in QGIS. However, when I go to print, it comes up with this message:

Failed to add layout to layout manager. Try removing some.

I then remove my layers from QGIS, and try to reprint, but I just get the same error. And I change the number of maps, try all from 1 to 6 and nothing works. 

Confused as to why it says it is not able to add to layout manager, when it does do that when I press Create.

This seems to be a bug in the layout manager of QGIS: it fills almost
instantly. Use the QGIS Project menu to access the layout manager and
remove the existing layouts. It has nothing to do with the number of
layers in QGIS.
