Crop database and OP schedules linkage for Mixed and Evergreen Needle-leaved forest

Hello, everyone.
I'm preparing a database for management operations. I am curious why the Mixed forest is referred to as OP schedules WATR and Evergreen Needle-leaved forest as FRST in the crop database rather than FRST and FRSE, respectively. Is it purely random, or is there some logic to it? If anyone knows, could you please explain why?
