Texas A&M AgriLife Research seeks an outstanding, innovative, and dynamic research faculty member in Forest Management and Natural Resources Modeling at the rank of Assistant Professor. The role involves collecting and analyzing data, developing models, and publishing research, training students, and securing external funding. The successful candidate will engage with industry professionals and collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies and academic colleagues, to address critical forestry issues such as reforestation, forest protection, and watershed management.

Candidates should have a Ph.D. in Forest Science or a closely related field, with experience in forest management research and strong quantitative skills. Preferred qualifications include prior academic or professional experience, grant writing abilities, and outreach experience with stakeholders. This position is based at the Texas A&M AgriLife Blackland Research and Extension Center in Temple, Texas, and is affiliated with the Department of Ecology and Conservation Biology at Texas A&M University.
