trouble shooting of sediment simulation

Hello, can you please help me on how to generate or simulate sediment in QSWAT? I have imported the output.sed file together with the hru, rch, and sub; however, when I try to create the shapefile of sediment outflow, it says there is no sediment data. I have also checked the SWAT.mdb, and it was empty. Please help me. Thank you.
