QSTEM v2.4 error

Dear Prof.Koch

Hello, I'm user of QSTEM and appreciate for frese software  excellent.

But, I got some errors related to recent updated version 2.4.

When I do  start a simulation, the simulation doesn't work and stopped.

When I redo with a version 2.3, al it works properly.

Please note that I used a re-uploaded v 2.4 version (2nd uploaded version).

I also attached error message screen shot and my installed files (fftw is included).

Also, May I ask a question about gbmaker program? 

When I execute gbmaker, a certain window appeared but quickly disappeared. And nothing happened..

Is my situation abnormal??

I have tried to reproduce your error, but I was not able to do so. Does this error also occur when running one of the example files, e.g. STO_4x4.qsc?

If not, can you please send me your .qsc and .cfg file, so that I can try to reproduce the problem?

as described on this page: https://www.physik.hu-berlin.de/en/sem/software/software_gmbmaker (linked to from the main page of qstem.org), gbmaker is a command line tool. It requires you to specify an input file by hand, a few examples of which are provided at the link above.

Try running it from a command window as well so you can see any error messages.

Start -> Run -> cmd

Navigate to your directory where gbmaker is installed

cd \where\ever\QSTEM\bin

and run gbmaker

gbmaker

Copying text in the Windows command shell is a pain but you can right-click to "mark" the start location, then drag, and then press Enter (while holding down the mouse button) to copy the text to the clipboard.
