QSB Users,

My friends and family noticed me using QSB and wanted more info so I
prepared a quick blog entry. Could you all give it a quick look and
let me know if I missed something or if you have some additional
search tips or suggestions before I throw it out to them? Keep in mind
that that I had to describe this without images (theme for the site).

Thanks!
Doc

Aside from the 'bombs' comment ... ;-)

Three major omissions I saw:

- Actions and tabbing into items. For example using it for controlling/
searching iTunes.
- How to tweet (space in front of a word)
- Search other sites (try typing imdb, then tabbing in on the internet
movie database and typing "batman" for example)

Also I should mention that contrary to what you said we don't search
GMail.

Cheers,
Dave

I just checked and can't believe I missed the lack of Gmail search.
I'll correct that. Love the additional features you mentioned and will
add them to a follow up post. This one was to get them started.
Thanks! Since you were nice enough to reply Dave, I'll even modify my
"bomb" comment. I'm using the latest version of QSB so I probably
shouldn't include it anyway.

Dave,

Thought you might like to know that I've added your tips and a couple
of my own to a new note. Available here:

Thanks for the help!

Looks good...

Under "Control iTunes" there is a "the _____ is" part. Did you mean
to fill in _____ with something, or am I just misreading it?

Cheers,
Dave

PS when in text entry mode try entering [DTS], [DS], or [TS]

Great catch! I'm my own worst editor. And thanks for the Date and Time
Stamp tips. Definitely going to add them to the post. Thanks so much
Dave! Your interaction has made these posts a blast!

Dave,

I've cleaned up the posts, added a couple of images here and there and
added a new post demonstrating the use of [dts].

Looks good Steven. I've actually seen some folks now using the
timestamps on Twitter, so somebody out there is reading ;-)

Cheers,
Dave

This is great. It would be super if there was a controller for the
format separate from the OS settings.
