I know the specs of the Mini indicate that it will run with an input of 10V to 14.8V (nominal 13.8V), and that on receive the consumption is anywhere from ~120 to 250mA and on transmit it uses ~500 to 700mA.  How does everyone run their Mini?  Using a power supply in the shack?  Battery pack?  Anyone taken the Mini out for portable ops yet?  I am trying to get an idea of the real-world power for the Mini since I hope to do quite a bit of portable ops and SOTA.  Any experiences are welcome.

All the parameters for voltage and current correspond to the declared ones.
I happen to work on accumulators 18650.

On average...how long does your battery pack last between charges?  Or have you done a full charge/discharge cycle only using the batteries with the Mini?  I love the fact that the Mini is so easy on power.  It will be great for portable ops.

These batteries I have enough for 2 days of work.
I want to redesign the charging circuit and add another battery.

I am using a 12V 9Ah non-spillable sealed lead acid battery.

I haven't had an opportunity to use the radio much yet, but hopefully soon enough, portable didtal is the way I would like to go.

I hope you enjoy the radio as much as I have thus far.
