Good evening!

We've received a number of questions regarding the ability to test LVT opt-in status in the Developer Preview environment. The latest update we can provide is that we expect to have test scenarios available towards the end of this week (on or around January 10). The Submissions API endpoints currently check against LVT Opt-in eligibility but the default settings return this as false. The LVT opt-in eligibility GET end points and the POST LVT Opt-in endpoint on the Eligibility API are available and we encourage you to test these as well. When test scenarios are available we will post another message in this forum.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi all,

The Synthmaker scenarios for LVT Opt-in should be available now.  Please use this just like you would use any other Synthmaker Scenario.

If you use this endpoint and enter your Dev-Pre Registry Auth token you should be able to see the list of scenarios available to test with.

Thanks for your patience.  Please let us know if you have further questions.
Michelle

Hey Michelle,

I reserved one of every scenario available and none of them show as opt in eligible.

Is there scenarios that should be available besides the below?

Thanks
Brett

Hey Michelle,

Quick update, I see the LVT scenario type this morning and reserved it. HOWEVER, when I then check the eligibility of those TINs and NPIs they come back as not found
{

"data": [

{

"tin": "000010594",

"npi": "0000000292",

"error": {

"code": 404,

"name": "NotFoundError",

"message": "TIN-NPI combo not found."

}

}

]
}

The other scenarios are found although not being eligible
{

"data": [

{

"tin": "000010004",

"isOptInEligible": false,

"optInDecisionDate": null,

"isOptedIn": null,

"year": 2019,

"runNum": 3

}

]
}

Thanks
Brett

I forgot the Bearer with my token. Added that and I'm good.

I'm now experiencing the same behavior as Brett. Additionally, is there a way to set up for a non-eligible provider?

Hey Shane,

Not from the CMS group, but if you reserve a scenario OTHER than LVT it does come back from the eligibility endpoint with isOptInEligible set to false.

Thanks
Brett

Brett--Yeah, but really need the LVT to work for isOptInEligible : true. You're right that the NE provider would come back as false. I just need the eligibility API to work so I can get amsMipsEligibleClinician. Know any other way to determine base eligibility? Thanks again for the help too, Brett.

Oh definitely, it's what I have been waiting on too. It seems some reason that LVT scenario doesn't feed into the eligibility endpoint like every other scenario. To me, it seems like an issue but hopefully someone can comment on the CMS side of things. Maybe I am missing something.

Thanks
Brett

Hi Team,

When I reserved a scenario for LVT, API returned a list of NPI and a TIN.

Issue:
  • All the reserved TINs with LVT are returning the status  isOptInEligible : false
Please provide the TIN data with isOptInEligible : true for testing purposes. We are running out of time. Please fix it soon.

Thanks
Kishore Kumar

HI Kishore,

Were you able to reserve a scenario where isOptInEligible = true?

Has anyone been able to? Mine still say false even for the LVT scenario.

I think no one has yet been able to get the exact test data for testing Opt-In eligibility.

Can anyone post here if he/she was able to generate and use the correct NPI TINs for testing?

If not then anyone from the CMS side kindly provides the same as we are running out of time to develop the functionality.

Good Day!

We have completed updates and corrections to the DevPre Environment relative to test scenarios for Opt In.  Test scenarios should now reflect various Opt In conditions.  Using the Opt In Reset Endpoint, you should be able to test and retest various opt in conditions.  Please let us know if you run into any issues.

We appreciate your patience as we worked through this issue.

I've discarded my old LVT dataset that wasn't optInEligilble to try and create a new one now that a fix has been applied, however LVT is no longer showing as a reservable option for me. Can someone please advise on what steps to take to get an opInEligible dataset. This has been a blocker for over a month now.
