Hi all,

Just wanted to post a reminder of the steps for getting your Developer Preview token and your production token that you'll use to submit for PY2019:

1. Log on to qpp.cms.gov using your credentials for your registry account. Remember you must be a security official for your registry.
2. There will be a "Final 2018 Performance Feedback Available" box below the blue welcome message. Click "View Feedback"
3. The next screen is the Performance Feedback screen. Make sure you are on the "Registries" tab.
4. Click "View Dashboard" next to the registry you need the token for.
5. That takes you to "2018 Registry Submission Details" - make sure you're on the right year, which is 2018 (yes this is confusing as it's the 2019 Dev Pre token, I've passed along this feedback)
6. Click the "Download API Token" button, which produces a drop down.
7. FOR DEVELOPER PREVIEW - Click "Download Developer Preview API Token"
8. FOR PRODUCTION - Click "Refresh" then download your new token. YOU MUST REFRESH YOUR TOKEN FIRST IF YOU HAVE NOT.

Your token(s) will open in a new window.

If I am not a registry, I am a EHR that is going to submit for our client base, Do I need a production token?

Yes, anyone who is going to use the API to submit MUST have a Production token.
Directions on where to go on the QPP site to download your token are posted in the original thread above.

Thanks!
Michelle

Michaelle I represent a EHR and we are not a registry and I need a way to validate my json/xml before we submit it for our clients. The Swagger UI API developer tools when trying to do a test submission say type": "UnauthorizedError",
"message": "Current user cannot create this object"

Please If you can email me or call me that would be great I am on the phone with QPP and they seem to know nothing about this or how to help me.

Thanks
Michael

Michael -

The Swaggar UI API Developer Tools has a default token with Registry permissions which means that you cannot use the /submissions endpoint directly, instead the highest level you can test at is the measurement-sets level.
Do you get the same error if you use a POST or PATCH on the /measurement-sets endpoints?

Thanks!
Michelle
