We are a specialty EMR specialized to the practice of Gastroenterology and we have a couple questions regarding our 2015 certification.
Where can we look up what are the minimum required criteria to complete CMS Certification for 2015? Many criteria list at https://www.healthit.gov/topic/certification-ehrs/2015-edition-test-method are not applicable to our specialty EMR and different resources have given us different answers.
Is it correct, that we can certify anytime in 2019 to submit data for PY2019 as long as all the data and criteria are met. We are planning to compete certification by July 1 2019, as we have seen no ruling by CMS that requires EMRs to be certified by a certain date in 2019 in order to submit 2019 PY data.
