I am trying to use the QPP conversion tool to update the QRDA-III. I have cloned the repo, and my version of maven is 3.5.2, my version of java is 1.8.0_151. I am trying to run the conversion tool in a windows command prompt. I navigated to the qpp-conversion-tool directory and ran the command from the GitHub `convert.bat  .\qrda-files\valid-QRDA-III.xml` When I ran this, it built the egg and everything came back as a success. However, no new file was created with the comments. The only think that happen was this `" "` was returned. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Hi Matthew,

My team can help you with this.  After a successful build was reported, there was no other output to the command prompt window?  Have you tried running `convert.bat` a second time?

Thanks,
Scott

Hi Matthew,

Im facing the same issue with CAT III files conversion. When I execute Convert. bat ./qrda-files/valid-QRDA-III-latest.xml, it says Success but I dont see any JSON file being created. Any idea what is the issue here?

Thanks,
Anu

I the devs got ahold of me and said it was a bug. I never heard anything back after that.

Hi Team
I also faced this issue on my end, issue is related to permission to create the file and I can suggest different way to generate json from command prompt and you have to access the location of the qpp folder in command prompt.

Hi Anu,

Please try the following:

convert.bat qrda-files\valid-QRDA-III-latest.xml

On windows, whenever I run the file conversion, the slashes must be back slashes rather than forward.
After doing this, the conversion worked for me on windows.

Hi Matthew,

Do you know what Command line tool you are using to run this? I have found that running conversions on Git Bash does not work but running them using CMD or PowerShell for windows runs and converts into QPP correctly.
