Anyone up for starting a community forum?

This group has been extremely helpful since day one. It would be sad and inconvenient to see it go away. It may not be possible for everyone who posts here to attend the tech talk and vendor calls.
My request to QPP team is to re-consider or at least provide other way to post questions.
Also, there could be a FAQ page about APIs where the questions being asked so far could be categorized so that they won't be repeated.

I agree this has been an invaluable discussion group, I will hate to lose access to the information. I am no longer on a QCDR or other registry, but still work with practices and need to understand what potential issues we could face in reporting and this group alerts me to what to look for.

We are also very concerned about this group being retired and have voiced this to QPP as well.  Suggesting everyone also open a ticket with qpp.cms.gov to ask if this decision can be reversed.

Our developers access this resource, which is searchable for previously raised issues all the time.It is a tremendously helpful platform for assistance not only from CMS to resolve issues, but also as a forum for other developers to provide useful feedback and suggestions.

We have raised the issue via a CMS QPP ticket as well as asking the EHRA to investigate the issue. The timing is EXTREMELY concerning as the submission window will still be open for two months after this group closes. The response time for QPP cases has been long and slow already. The additional influx of questions regarding submission issues that we have previously been able to resolve here is unlikely to improve response time during a season where quick responses are critical.

Can we convert this group to a developer forum, instead of shutting it down? If CMS does not want to participate, I am not sure why we can't just continue to help each other here.... Maybe CMS can just post any new updates without actively responding to questions. Surely that's not too much to ask, is it?

Searching back through this group has helped us in so many ways.  This group has made it possible for us to do much of the development without having to ask many questions.

Thank you for your responses and feedback.

We appreciate your continued interest in the Google Groups, however we are no longer able to dedicate resources to moderate and maintain these forums. Before making this decision, we conducted an audit of discussion topics and questions posed to the group. The good news is that the majority of answers to these questions are already available through our Developer Tools, Swagger documentation and information on the QPP Resource Library. You will also be able to search for information in the Google Group, which will continue in a read-only state through March 31, 2020 when the 2019 MIPS performance period data submission period closes.

Please bring any questions not answered by our available documentation to the monthly support calls/Virtual Office Hours, or contact the Quality Payment Program at 1-866-288-8292, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-8:00 PM ET or by e-mail at: Q...@cms.hhs.gov.
