I want to share this with you. We had the same code in Turkey and shared it with the students that are interested, so maybe you can do the same of you know of any students that might be interested in this course 🙂

Deadline is 18th September.

Also, please feel free to share with other QCousins members you seem fit (I'm sending this email while traveling so I only added the names I immediately recalled 😅).

Hi Zeki,

Great news forwarded on full scholarships to the IBM-sponsored free full year course by Qubit by Qubit on intro to quantum computing --- I used to teach this course part-time, to ~200 high schoolers each week, for Europe, Africa, and Asia time zones.  It's run by The Coding School non-profit and is an amazing initiative.

Is it possible to identify which past or present participants of your learning events and your networks are *high schoolers or in financial need*, and share this code with them directly via individual email?  Can I leave it to you to share this opportunity with young learners and folks in financial need in whichever way you think is best?  I'm guessing this code we should not post this code publicly so that we can get it to the right people.  Feel free to share with others you think can help spread the word.

Best,
Lia

Hi Lia, My name is Gabbie, and I am Program Manager at Qubit by Qubit, one of our programs at The Coding School, the 501(c)(3) tech education nonprofit. We're excited to share that we are partnering with IBM Quantum for the third year in a row to offer thousands of scholarships to students.
Would you be willing to share the information below with students who may be interested? This course is open to any individual high school and up who has completed geometry, and we are prioritizing scholarships for early learners and folks with financial need. We recommend students apply by September 18th, so the sooner they apply, the better! For more information about the course, visit our website here

Thanks to our sponsor, IBM Quantum, we’re excited to provide FULL scholarships to attend our award-winning Intro to Quantum Computing course. We want to make quantum computing accessible for students across the country, so with the code QCScholars2233, any student or faculty can bypass the scholarship application and enroll - no payment needed (so long as space is available).

Thank you so much for helping us get the word out about this course! Any questions from students can be directed to qua...@the-cs.org, and our team will get back to them ASAP!

Best,

Gabbie

About the Course:

This course is offered virtually with live instruction from researchers at top universities (UC Berkeley, MIT, and Harvard). This offer is available for all students in high school and UP (including university students, educators, and members of the workforce). We pride ourselves on making emerging tech subjects accessible, and therefore, only ask that students have taken or are currently taking geometry.

How to Apply:

Register through the application link in this flier. By entering the promo code QCScholars2233 in the application, individuals you share the code with are able to bypass the application process and enroll in the course automatically (so long as there is space available). (When using the promo code, participants should not request a scholarship on the application form).

Thank you for helping us spread the word!
Gabbie
