Fwd: An invitation (from OQI) to submit use case ideas

With our commitment to accelerate the development of quantum computing use cases for the UN Sustainable Development Goals and succeeding framework, we are delighted to invite you to submit quantum computing use case ideas through a call for submissions that will be open from April 30 – June 15 2024.
As part of OQI’s general mission to promote global and inclusive access to quantum computing, OQI is working towards rebalancing the focus of quantum computing applications towards impact for the benefit of humanity while counteracting the hype effects. OQI is building a repository of SDG-relevant use cases to encourage and inspire the global community to participate in this mission. OQI focuses on showing applicability rather than discovering new methods.
OQI invites the worldwide community to participate. Submission of use case ideas can be done via this submission form. Through this call, OQI is aiming at supporting up to 10 projects to develop ideas into use case outlines, offering a neutral platform for collaboration and building teams with multidisciplinary expertise.
Some of the projects will eventually be selected to receive free credits for early testing and implementation on quantum simulators and quantum processors available on OQI’s partners’ cloud platforms.
