Hello.

Every year a disaster support exercise is held in Canberra.  The exercise is for people to practice a scenario where they are supporting emergency rescue staff and volunteers.

We are seeking volunteer role players to participate on Friday 9^th July 2010 from 12.30pm to around 2.30pm.

The program is:

12.30pm sausage sizzle lunch (free)

1pm Orientation for role players

1.30pm Role Play

2.30pm finish.

The role players are asked to play emergency service and other support workers coming to a demobilization centre where they will be debriefed and cared for by the exercise participants.  The role players will be given an outline of their character and play the role free-form for about 45 minutes.

 

We would appreciate it very much if you could pass on our request for volunteer roleplayers to anyone that might appreciate the experience.

We are unable to offer any renumeration for the roleplayers (apart from free lunch and afternoon tea), but can provide a written reference of thanks for their participation.
