What do you believe are the 3 most important qualities you bring into the relationships in your life ? Which of your relationship do you believe is the most successful ? Why?

Sense of humor, open-mindedness, and willingness.   I would have said honesty, but that is where I’m weakest.  It’s not so much that I’m outright lying but I have a tendency to keep how I’m feeling to myself to spare the other persons feelings or to avoid conflict.  My relationship with my wife is the most successful because we have been together for almost 33 years, been through a lot of stuff together, have survived it, grown up because of it, and our relationship is stronger for it.   And recovery had a big part to play in making our relationship what it is today.

Love,

Jon P.

Willingness, Compassion, and Understanding are 3 pretty good ones of the top of my head. My most important relationship is with my Higher Power but the one I have with my daughter is the most succesful one as it's been alive and well for 30+ years and has never faltered.
