Ever feel like just stirring up some shit, just cause you're bored? Any way to avoid that? Avoid the boredom I mean.

My life is full to the brim now because of NA, and not because I go to so many meetings and do lots of service work, but because I got clean and stayed clean through NA, I have so many choices of what to do with my time today.  In active addiction I had no choice and my whole life and thinking were focused on using and ways and means to get more, so I would seek chaos simply to provide some excitement.  So the answer to the question is an emphatic no, I don’t ever feel like stirring up some shit because I am rarely, if ever, bored.  I avoid the boredom by filling my time up with all kinds of activities, some recovery related, some not, that I wouldn’t or couldn’t do in active addiction.

Love,

Jon P.

I rarely get bored these days and I closed the door on the Stirring up shit character defect a long time ago because it kept making me feel like shit I did it. I work on proactive productive positive activities to stay away from boredom and If I feel really bored I zone out on a few Facebook games and then I'm not bored anymore,
