Hi everyone,
Sharing a recent City of Toronto feedback survey respecting the proposed redevelopments at Hanlan’s point.
QO members were involved in the community engagement sessions hosted by the city in February and March and voiced a number of concerns about the City's Draft Master Plan for Hanlan's Point at that time. These included concerns about community safety, increased policing and securitization, the commodification of public space, and potential damage to the existing clothing optional beach and adjacent park spaces due to increased use. A summary report of these sessions is also available at the link below.
In the City's own words:
The following survey is intended to report back on "What We Heard" through those Hanlan's-specific conversations and to illustrate how the project team has incorporated this feedback into the Draft Master Plan. This survey is also intended to assess the community's satisfaction with the outcomes of the engagement process.
Please consider sharing your feedback on this process by participating in the survey.
Thanks,
Leonard
