"Reminder! We are hosting our online panel 'Reclaiming Pride: Divesting from Genocide' in just under a week! Livestream link and panel participants to come shortly.

🗓️February 20

🕑 7 pm EST / 4 pm PST

Why are our prides invested in ongoing settler colonialism, imperialism, and genocide from Turtle Island to Palestine?  How can we pressure our Prides to become part of the joint struggle against imperialism? How do we collaborate and build coalition and community in this work?

We will address these questions and more with guest speakers from Pride in Sudbury, St. John's, and P.E.I. as well as from the Coalition Against Pinkwashing and Queers for Palestine Ottawa (Q4POtt). Panelists will share their experiences in getting their local prides to cut ties with weapon's manufacturers, major banks, and environmentally destructive corporations, in alignment with the call for BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions) issued and led by Palestinian civil society.  We are also delighted to be joined by queer/trans drag artist Mama Ganuush.
