Bug report - qmpdclient terminates during song transition

during/after transition to a new song if only the tray icon is active (i.e.
there is no open window). There is a pop-up message about the new
song (as usual) and then the process terminates.
I've seen it in KDE4.4, LXDE and fluxbox.
I can provide you with an strace output if it helps.

Terminates with no error? I've been reported that, but cannot reproduce...

Yes please, maybe it can help. Also, i'd like to know what notification engine you are using and what is your compiler version.

Yes: no error. gdb say "program finished normally". It also shows that
QtCoreApplication::exec() finishes orderly and calls the destructor of
the QMpdClient class.

I'm using QMPDClient notification engine
If notifications are disabled, the program doesn't terminate.
With Freedesktop notification the program terminates, but I also get a
message on the terminal
DBus notify failed, falling back to custom notifier.
