Dear All,

I am running one mail server for last two years, I follow Bill’s Qmail Toaster guide. Recently I found SSL certificate has expired, can anyone tell me how to renew self-signed SSL certificate for qmail toaster. Also how to avoid outlook certificate warnings for certificate.

Thanks,

Hi,

Move the old cert in /var/qmail/control (mv servercert.pem
servercert.pem.old)

Change to your netqmail1.x/netqmail1.x directory

make cert

You should also run the update_tmprsadh (or what ever it is).

Regards,

Rick

I don't know anything about Outlook, but you may need to delete the old
certificate in Outlook, restart Outlook and try again.

This does work in Thunderbird.

Rick

Did you restart Qmail and vpopmail?

Shouldn't have to. qmail-smtpd and qmail-popup launch a new instance
for each connection.

I found the problem. It happened due to IMAP/POP3 certificate, problem
solved after regenerating dovecot cert files.

I use Bill's toaster 0.9.2 and I'm trying to get the qmail-spamthrottle patch to work. We have the spamt.cdb file created but I don't see any data going into the /var/qmail/spam directory. Has anyone else figured this out?

Regards, Jeff Koch
