Afternoon Q, is it possible to create a "report" or a print out of a completed cue list? I'd like to have one on paper for the sound tech. Thanks.

The easiest way to do this is copy the cues you want to print and paste them in your favorite spreadsheet, and then print from there. (They are copied as tab-delimited text for pasting in other programs.)

Best,

This was true in V2, but when I tried this in V3 I only got the first line in the QList.

Hm, are you sure? I just tried it to be sure and was able to copy and paste all of the cues I had selected in the cue list.

Just tried it again.... Same result.

My cue list starts with a show group, then an act group, and then a variety of cues and misc. groups. When I copy everything, the only thing that gets pasted is the very first group for the show.

Are the groups expanded so that you can see all the component cues?

I can confirm the behaviour you are reporting

Only Pastes the first line of a group

No cues within in the group

So if all the cues are in a show group you only get the first line of the first cue

Same here – although it does seem to copy subsequent non-grouped cues. So I made a list with a group of four cues, followed by four more, and it pasted as a blank line for the group cue with the number, timings and auto-continue, and four more lines with the individual cues all listed.

Ah, I see the confusion.

By design, it only copies the cues that are both visible and selected. This allows you to pick what you get.

I wish it were that simple. 90% of my groups are expanded, I selected everything, and none-the-less only the first line pastes.

Again – I confirm the same behavior.

More detail -

If you have a group and select all the internal cues plus external cues and do NOT select the group cue itself, ALL will copy/paste (obviously except the group cue header)

If you have an individual cue, followed by a group cue, followed by individuals - select all, you get the individual cues and the header line for the group cue.

Same list, select all EXCEPT the header for the group cue, and all copy and paste.

Ah, then clearly the confusion is all mine! Sorry guys.

Thanks for the details, will dig in again and see what I can find. I must not have tried the case that breaks it.
