Is there a way of using a livestream URL as a video source in Qlab 4?
I believe this should be possible using a camera cue and syphon. But I'm not too hot using syphon at all. From what I have read If I can get an app which is compatible with Syphon client to take the link and display video then I can send that to the syphon server and use that as a camera cue in Qlab.

For Clarity, I could easily send the stream to my display screen, but at our venue we will want to inked this vide as part of a larger show and layer over our company logo so ideally running it within Qlab would be better than using a separate computer and a vision mixer, which is our current method of sending a live stream to our screen.

Any help much appreciated

Where/what is the stream coming from?

If it’s an RTMP stream or something else you can bring into OBS, you can use the virtual camera functionality of OBS. QLab 5 can also take NDI streams, so if the stream can be brought into NDI that might be best.

Ideally this wouldn’t be on the same computer, though.
