Hi all,

Just thought it might be once again time for a stocktake of OSes... in their current version, which of the OSes above are the most performant/reliable/bug-free when it comes to QLab 3? I read about general performance issues in Yosemite elsewhere, and obviously there was the sluggish video bug introduced in Mavericks that is (correct me if I am wrong) rumored but not confirmed to have been fixed in the current version of... Mavericks? Yosemite?

I know it is a broad question, but it would be good to get some background to all of this, specifically when considering new hardware and/or slowly upgrading the OS of older machines for other software.

Happy Saturday (in Australia),

No real problems in Mavericks for me on an iMac. I run a backup in Yosimete on a Mac Book Pro. Haven't had to rely too much on that but, no problems so far. I have a friend who is an Apple Genius who tells me that El Capitan is not ready for prime time (for anything). I'm waiting for him to tell me when to upgrade to it. Until then, I work primarily in Mavericks and a little bit in Yosmite.

I have show machines on Yosemite and some on El Capitan, no issues here at all.

I had problems with Yosemite when I use with my 3 interfaces Motu (Video and audio). The Motu reported that there was no driver to Yosemite. I return to the Mavericks.
