Hi,
i am using qlab for a show and someone recommended to me to use a "test File" to basically
test before the Show if the Sound is "okay" - does anyone have a "testFile" with Music that
is testing "left/right/stereo/" and some other things ?

The test file can pretty much be anything.  Some people might use pink noise, some people use music.  I prefer to use music, as long as it's a good quality recording with no distortion (you want to be able to hear that there's nothing obviously wrong with the speakers - lo fi alternative rock might not be a good choice)

It's easy to program a cue sequence of the test audio file and a series of fade cues that step through each QLab output / speaker individually so that you can hear that the signal chain from each QLab output to its respective speaker is correct.  It's pretty much essential to run through a check like this before each rehearsal / performance.

Hope this helps.

Jason

Thanks Jason, as always you are the best.

Here's the standard TV live transmission test (4 channels but you get the picture):

1) Tone at zero on all 4 channels - level set
2) each channel "breaks," then restores - channel ID
3) dead board (all faders down) - noise floor
4) music at nominal level - check under dynamic conditions
5) music at a pushed level - check for distortion

Certain networks add a 10K tone & 100Hz for frequency response although that's left over from analog transponders and would be pretty annoying in a live sound situation.
