Cue id or cue number

Sorry for this question but i don't understand the difference between Cue id and Cue number?

Hi gui,

A cue number is something a human assigns to a cue, and not all cues have a cue number.

A cue ID is a (relatively long) unique ID that the computer assigns to the cue. Every cue has a cue ID.

That's what I thought but I don't know where to find the Cue ID.

The Cue ID is only available via scripting — AppleScript or OSC
