At the stage of preparing large competitions, performances without audio cues are often replaced with text files in finder. Now QLab ignores txt when importing. It would be great if the situation changed. The absolutely logical behavior would be to convert the TXT file to a MEMO cue.

It'd be easy enough to script that: I already have a routine that expands on QLab's drag & drop for importing by localising the files (https://wiki.allthatyouhear.com/doku.php#import_files); a few extra lines and it would make a Memo Cue out of text files.
I do it the other way though: make a text file for the whole show and create Group Cues to be populated once the content exists: https://wiki.allthatyouhear.com/doku.php#making2. I think Mic's done something recently with Excel like this too?

Neat idea! I've added this idea to our issue tracker to consider as a future addition.
