Assuming
this is the manual, p310 implies that you can use any raw UDP string you like to trigger an Event. So you could send “go” to trigger a GO Event if you set that Event to listen for “go”. You just need to match up the IP address with that of your QLab machine, pick a port to send on and set it the same on both devices, and then create a Network Cue with “type" UDP Message.
That’s the theory; no way of testing it. The ADB Freedom doesn’t seem to support OSC, and MIDI would follow essentially the same procedure: choose a MIDI command, have QLab send it, have the ADB Freedom listen in the right place for it and create an Event to be triggered by it to do something.
