Hi guys,

It's possible to copy or save light patch instruments?
I explain why; on our theater we work with 2 mac (and 2 qlab), 1 for sound and fx an 1 for light, with two operators, sound designer and light designer. For touring we want to unify all on one mac and one Qlab.
Testing we see that, if we copy one cue list (light) to Audio and fx Qlab, on Lights cue levels tab no one is copied (with sliders view). Then we see (with text view) in the light cues all the info copied with the names on old patch.

Maybe a new feature to future save patch names?

Thanks

Hello

Try my (very unofficial and unsupported) qlab merge app - https://www.dropbox.com/s/r1tfwy529xxx9cu/qlabMerge%202019-01-01%2001-11-33.zip?dl=0 - select the master file (with all the cues in it) and the merge file (with patch etc) then target an output file and hit merge - you would need to get all the cues into one file using the copy and paste method you mention below as this app only merges settings

I haven’t tested it with the latest qlab version as I built it for some escape rooms which we are leaving on an old version of qlab while the show runs

Richard

Hi Oriol,

At the moment it is not possible to import/export/copy light patches but this is high on our list of things we want to improve.

Best,
Chris

Hi,

Why not importing the Audio Qlab into the LX Qlab? then you have your LX patch. After that you can bundle the whole thing and put it on the Mac you want.
