Hi. I'm an audio guy, that works at a church and we're trying to simplify some of our systems. it would be incredibly useful if QLab could control PVP but I've been unable to have any success so far. I'm trying to send "plain text" to PVP via their API, but it's entirely possible I'm missing something. Is there a way to sniff or know exactly what QLab is sending?

The API is looking for something like this:

PVP has API documentation, but I haven't been able to find it via the web. Companion has a module for PVP and you can reverse engineer it to a degree, that can be found here: https://github.com/bitfocus/companion-module-renewedvision-pvp/blob/master/src/api.js

I can get QLab to fire Companion, which then fires PVP, but for obvious reasons, I'd love to skip the middle man if possible.

Any documentation or help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks.

Have you reached out to Renewed Vision? They might be able to help you get the info you need.

Found this YouTube video from RV's tutorial page: https://youtu.be/IUNzcJgQNH4?si=pwPNUt-Tc-lQCsiT

You can get the API documentation by clicking the button in the PVP settings page where you enable it. At least that is what it shows in v 3.1
