Some AU plugins don't work properly for me.

Right now the same thing happens with 2caudio B2 and Aether (still in Beta 64 Bit, so the error could be on their side), but also with plugins from Valhalla DSP (VRoom and Uebermod).

If applied directly on an audio cue, the UI shows up, but no audio is passed. When deleting the plugin, QLab crashes.

If applied on device level, the UI doesn't show up and no audio is passed. But no crash on closing them.

This is with QLab 3.0.5 Beta 2.

With other manufacturers' plugins, everything is working as expected.

Anyone experiencing the same behavior?

Regards
Robin

Update: Version 3.0.6 seems to have fixed the issue with the effect on the cue, this seems to work now with all the plugins.

However when the plugin is applied on device level, still the same bug.
And I experience the same behavior on a mic cue too. So when putting B2 or Aether on a Mic cue, UI appears but no audio is passing.

Anyhow, progress!

Cheers
Robin

I'm pretty sure that plugs on the device level still need to be Mono in/out.  If these plug-ins have a mono option, try that.  If not, it may just not work yet...

Good call, Jeremy. I didn't pay attention to this.

Experimented with some Waves-plugins and everything worked as expected. Stereo plugins on stereo cues, only mono plugins on device level.
