ETC Colorsource 40

[Visual Conduct]

I was at a theater with an op   ETC Colorsource 40 console last 2 days... They told me that it's not possible to control this unit with Qlab, is this true? If so, the only solution would be to unplug the DMX connector from it and plug it into the enttec DMX pro interface? Or are there other possibilities?

The Colorsource 40 is not remote-controllable at all… no MIDI, no OSC, no timecode, no incoming DMX, no nothing.

The “AV” versions of the Colorsource can be remote controlled using OSC at least.

So, if the console is a “Colorsource 40” and NOT a “Colorsource 40 AV”  they are correct and it cannot be controlled by QLab or anything else other than a person’s fingers.

Thanks a lot dear Sam, much appreciated :-) Pulling the dmx cable out and connecting it to the enttec dmc interface would make it work right?
