macOS 13 - Ventura

Hello Friends

Today marks the release of macOS Ventura, a.k.a. macOS 13.0.

Therefore it is time again for my nearly-annual reminder to please NOT UPGRADE the operating system on any Mac that is now, or will be soon, running a show.

While there is no known compatibility problem between QLab and macOS 13.0, we have not done extensive testing, and issues may be lurking in dark corners.

In general, we recommend avoiding any macOS release ending in “.0” on audience-facing Macs, and looking back over the history of macOS 10.0, 11.0, and 12.0, we feel very comfortable with this position.
