Seamlessly blend audio between Zones on a cue-by-cue basis. This functionality has a lot of potential use cases, including height spatialisation. It also means that a Map is no longer a static representation of a space, and can be manipulated for each Cue.
Sequence Library
Reusing Sequences across multiple cues is now much easier. It is now possible to drag and drop Sequences to and from the library. It is also now possible to copy and paste sequences between cues.
Drag and drop QLab cues from QLab
It is now possible to drag and drop cues straight from a connected QLab Workspace directly onto the panLab panner. This feature requires QLab 4.6.10 or higher. It also requires that the connected QLab workspace is running on the same Mac as panLab.
Panner Scenes
Store a collection of cues to be viewed on the panner as a Scene. This allows you to fetch and view the cues at a later time without having to reselect them in QLab first.
Updated panner algorithm
The magic sauce that makes panLab work has received an upgrade. panLab 2.1 is better at calculating the centre of a Zone in situations where Speakers are distributed unevenly around the Zone. The stability of the algorithm around the central point of the Zone has also been improved.
If you're not yet a panLab 2 customer, there is a free trial available at the
Innovate Audio website. If you already have a licence, just head to 'Check for Updates' in the panLab 2 menu. Really hope you like it!
