I'm new to Qlab...I'm trying to fad out a video cue... no joy.... I see
the progress bar on the fade cue move but at the end of the fade cue the
video stops abruptly? is it possible to fade video out...? can't find
anywhere in manual to help

In order to fade video in (under settings tab) start with the video cues
opacity @ 0
Next, add an animation cue behind it (timed out with auto continue) to
bring the opacity of the animation cue up to 100 or whatever the desired
level is.
Then use another animation cue to take the opacity back down to 0 & select
"stop target when done" box (if you don't need to fade it back up again).
So for a fade up & down,
video cue - opacity 0
animation cue 1 - opacity 100
animation cue 2 - opacity 0
You will need to trigger them manually unless you program using autowaits
/ continues to do it automatically.
