Hello again!

I started using a stream deck as a MIDI-controller for QLab. Mainly I use the buttons on the Stream Deck to affect the sliders in the Light Dashboard.

So, the question is basically in the headline: how do I setup my software so that when I change the sliders in QLab it affects the stream deck?

There is feedback options in both the stream deck and QLab so it should be possible right?

I got this working in Touch OSC via Touch OSC Bridge. Do I need some "bridge"-software here too?

Why not using Companion with OSC?

I actually thought about (and tried) that option but I could not get it working beyond "show control" (go-button, panic burron etc.). Can you control the Light Dashboard with OSC/Companion? Can you get feedback? In that case I really think that would be a better option!

When I say i got it working with Touch OSC I meant that the OSC bridge translated the OSC into MIDI so that I could get those two features...

So by the way, I got it working now with OSCulator :)

I'm really curious about Companion though... Can you get a fader in the same way as the original Stream Deck app?

I've never used it to control sliders in the Light Dashboard, but; I use a Stream deck with Companion and it works great to control any OSC controllable part of qlab. In the Companion UI -> Connections Tab - > Add a Generic OSC connection. After that, you can send OSC direct from the Stream Deck to qlab (or anywhere)
