Apologies,

I know the answer to this must be horribly obvious but I just can't find it...!

I'm building a set and controlling it using a streamdeck (so, firing cues, rather than auditioning).

How can I run the show in a window, rather than playing fullscreen? I need to be able to see the workspace as I plan the remote control interface on streamdeck...

Thanks in advance...

If you are using QLab 5 there are monitor buttons for each stage.

But when I fire the cue, it always goes fullscreen...

Turn on “Always Audition”, and the output will display in a window, or alternatively make all your outputs route to Syphon virtual outputs, and use the monitor buttons Mic suggested

Use Always audition mode from the tools menu.

You will also need to go into settings audition to configure where things like network and audio cues route to when in Audition
