NDI HX or NDI Virtual Input

Hello all.

We have a show with an Iphone using NDIHXCam. In Qlab5 there are two options to capture the Iphone´s camera. One using the app NDI Virtual Input and the other one using NDI HX Camera directly on Qlab.

Both of them looks to works fine. Do you one which one is better?

Hello again. I anwser myself:

We are doing some test with NDI. We have a MacStudio with Monterrey, Qlab 5 and an Iphone 11 with NDIHXCam.

We´ve found that using NDI Virtual Input   is, by far, more stable than using the integrated NDI HX on Qlab. We don´t know why, maybe is a problem of our network configuration; but the results are clearly different.

We hope this information can be helpful.

And I reply myself again.

It´s was a problem with our network configuration, specifically with our Ruijie Access Point.

Now, after almost two months with the show, we can say that the integrated NDI HX on Qlab is better. And reliable, we haven´t had a single problem.
