Hey Everyone,

I am teching a show where the audience does a survey in the middle of the show and the results display on the screen. We've used Google Slides in the past and a QR code to mentimeter to select the survey results. But i need to display them on the projector using QLab.

Has anyone ever done surveys on QLab and have tricks to make this happen?

Thank you,

I’ve done something like this with NDI. If you can accomplish the formatting you need online (meaning you can see the results as needed in chrome or safari) then you can
- send that with NDI Scan Converter.
- Add the NDI Input in settings.
- Add a camera cue with this NDI source.
- Use the Shutter or window effects as needed.

That should do what you’re needing. Are you able to pull up the results site pre-show? Does it live update? Or do you actually need to update it after the poll is taken?

I don't know why I skipped over the questions. The first survey is taken, then the results come up after ten minutes. The second survey is taken at the beginning of intermission and the answers are displayed at the start of act II.
