Is there a way to trigger the NEXT cue at a time point BEFORE the cue
is over? In essence a minus or negative Post Wait Time?

For instance, the playing cue is a piece of music.... about 5 seconds
before the cue is over, I'd like the next cue to start?

You have the option of AUTO-FOLLOW which waits the exact cue length before
the next one will start. (arrow with circle)

You also have the option to AUTO-CONTINUE in which case it will wait the
amount of time specified in the POST WAIT window of the previous cue.
(arrow only)

For example

cue 1 = 5:00.00 duration set to auto continue with a post wait time of
4:55.00
Cue 2 will start 4:55.00 after cue 1 is triggered

In the case of an actual "minus or negative" post wait time, I think your
only option would be to re-sequence.

Yes, you need to auto-continue, and then use a Pre-Wait on the second
cue of the time into the first cue you want it to do. You'll need to
edit it if you change the length of the first, but otherwise you're
good.

On second read, a regular post-wait will do this, to, you just need to
do it explicitly, you can't do it as END-x, you need to do it as
START+X. You just need to make sure you're using auto-continue and not
auto-follow mode.
