Integrated fade audio domain

Linear curve fade cues have an audio domain choice: linear by “slider”, dB or linear – the last of which meters as linear by amplitude (ie: after 50% of a fade out the signal will be at 50% of its original level). [At least it did in v4; haven’t checked v5 yet…]

What domain is the linear fade type for integrated fades operating in please? It looks like dB – so after 50% of the time the signal will have dropped to 50% of the minimum volume limit (ie: with the defaults, you’ll drop 30dB in half of the fade – rather than 3dB for a linear, linear fade?)?

Hi Rich,

That’s correct, the domain of linear integrated fades is the same as the non-linear integrated fades
