Question: When I start a cue in Qlab3, the next cue automatically gets selected (blue color). Is there a way to disable this? So that after firing a cue, the current one stays selected (so it stays blue)?

I already tried unchecking the 'lock playback position to selection', but that isn't what I'm looking for, because with that unchecked I have to load every cue first.

I'm not sure what you mean by the second part of this; unlinking the playback head and cue selection should have no effect on whether cues need to be loaded or not. If a cue is set to auto load, it will load when the cue before it is started, if it isn't, it will load when it's started itself. Selection should have no impact on this.

Can you clarify what you mean, and what's leading you to think that you need to load every cue first?

Thanks,
Andy

you could set a wait cue for 00:00:01 after the cue and then a goto cue after that pointing at the original cue, that does what you*re asking for.

I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but I'm very fond of the Preview key ('V" is the default). It just plays the current cue without changing playback position and ignoring any continue settings. Very handy for setting levels, geometry and troubleshooting.
