Hi all,

Just a quick one. 1 year ago I started working with Qlab. This group was a great support for a new Qlab designer. I read zilion past conversation and ask some silly ones.The cookbook is a great resource.

There is always someone helping you or asking you something that makes you go in the right direction. The Facebook group is also very good.

So over this year, we send on the road 7 Mac (i5 or i7) with audio stems, video, some light control, and TC as the base of our live shows.

The Mac is triggered by the MD most of the time with USB GoBox or some MIDI pad.

Not a single crash, not a single operational problem. Around 500 shows. 

Plug, change surface, and play. Surface from the projector with Decimator or videowall with HDMII.

My audio interface is always UTrack24 from Cymatic ( some shows I have 18 stems).

Now there's an email everyone at Figure 53 wants to see!  I feel the same regularly!  Amazing piece of software.

Curious why you don't also play back audio from the Mac?  I'm sure your Mac can handle 18 stems?  No?

The MAC play all audio stem, video, and so on. The U24 is only the audio interface through USB. 24 outs at 24 bit of audio balance routing but of course as a backup/plan B ( The USB front slot when you insert a pen drive with your stems will work as a stand-alone playback device), in case there is a failure with Mac. Is a live music show I prioritize the click stem and all other audio bits in case of failure.
