Working on another creative juggling gadget. Trying to decide what to use. I have done this with via bluetooth 4.0 but am out of bluetooth slots on my mac. I bought a couple ESP32 units

and was gonna work on having it controlled via serial from a QLab Script Cue to CoolTerm via WIFI or better yet OSC directly from QLab to the ESP32 via WIFI.

Anyone know anything to lead me in the right direction. This very exciting as I am gonna reduce the complexity by using only ONE board and going direct to QLab...HOPEFULLY!!!!

I have! Currently using some in a few shows and it’s going really well! I’m not at my computer right now, and I don’t want to forget. Send me an email at hayden...@gmail.com and I’ll send you some sample code and how I laid out my project :)

Not exactly what you're looking for:

I've used the protocol outlined in this video

a couple times to integrate ESP8266 devices into props and scenery. For this method you program all your routines ahead and trigger them over wifi. I wrote an applesript that tells safari to open the address correlating to the desired routine in the background. If you need to live program the output this is not the method for you.

Hi Mark!

I attach some my projects with Arduino (Board -> Wemos D1: Wifi + Arduino) managed via QLab with OSC and Wifi

I hope you help ;-)
