the different inputs from an audio interface are not mapped to work in QLab 5 as it did in QLab 4 (or maybe I don't know how to make it work... that's why i am posting here)
Here is a screnshot from QLab 4:

and here is one from QLab 5 (same interface, started the audio setup from scratch):

BUT... if I import the QLab 4 file into QLab 5, the mapping is showing and everything works fine:

Suggestions to make it work directly in v.5?

thanks

Hi Alex,

I’m not getting this behavior; if I drag a multi-channel audio file into version 5 I see inputs for each channel of the file.

Is your audio file in the second screenshot a mono file?

Best,
C

sorry, I forgot to mention the most important detail: I'm on a mic cue, I have a multi channel audio interface and want to control the audio volume for each channel from Qlab. If you have a 2 channel audio interface, with Qlab 5 you won't be able to get any signal from channel 2. Or al least I wasn't... until I get that matrix from the 3rd screen shot by importing the qlab4 file

thanks

Hello Alex

Check out the new I/O tab of the inspector. In there you’ll find the controls to configure the number of inputs that the Mic cue should use.

Best
