Thanks for your feedback Pierre!
I’ve added your description to our internal issue tracker for this feature request.
In the meantime, if I understand your description correctly, I think I just cobbled together a way to do this today.
The attached screenshot is my first rapid attempt with no thought whatsoever to simplifying or alternate better methods, but it does seem to work.
It shows:
- Two copies of the same audio cue, each with an infinitely looping section and a mark after that section on which I want a subsequent audio cue to play.
- Two groups that each contain a pair of devamps — the first devamp to stop the infinite loop, which auto-starts the next devamp that will trigger the second audio cue at the post-loop mark.
- A timeline group which starts both devamp groups at the same time.
Playback flow is:
- Play cue 1, playhead jumps to cue 3.
- Play cue 3, playhead jumps to cue 5.
- Wait until both 1 and 3 are in their infinite loop section.
- Play cue 5, and both 1 & 3 will devamp their loop and play "1-90 Shop Door Bell.wav” at the marker time after their looped section.
(I may have misunderstood your goal, though.)
Cheers,
Chris
