Zoom F8n Pro as audio interface

Has anyone here used the Zoom F8n Pro as an audio interface? This morning, I activated the 1 hour demo mode to see if I could make this work. Unfortunately, I only get the outputs of the zoom to work, but not the ins. This in on a MacBook Pro, in the system settings the input indicator shows that indeed signal is coming in. With the build in microphones it works fine. Thank you.... Robert Glotzbach

After a little bit more digging, I discovered that the Zoom interface works fine in OS environment; I can record and playback no problem. So, most likely it's me making some mistakes (I am absolutely new to Qlab) Or it has to do with some settings in audio in/out settings tab, the locked faders for instance. I had a few looks in the manual but could not find more info about that topic.
